MULTI-DISCIPLINARY DESIGN STUDIO

Studio Sumeet Nagi is a Mumbai-based multi-disciplinary design studio specialised in furniture and luxury interior design. 

Driven by curiosity, Sumeet and his team find inspiration in the everyday objects and places that surround them. At the heart of the studio’s design approach is an unwavering attention to detail and a cohesive integration of form, function and feel. Under Sumeet’s creative direction, materiality, structure and aesthetics come together in a refined vocabulary with a subtle, yet distinctive edge.

Born and raised in Mumbai in a family of furniture makers, Sumeet completed a Master’s in Professional Interior Design at IED Istituto Europeo di Design before gaining significant experience designing luxury homes and offices in India and overseas. In 2020, he founded his eponymous studio in Mumbai where he gradually expanded his portfolio to furniture design, working on various projects and collaborations. With a career spanning more than 15 years, Sumeet has gained an in-depth understanding of the design market in India and beyond. His signature style combines clean, fluid lines and sophisticated yet unpretentious materials, achieving modern and elegant spaces and furniture imbued with a sense of craftmanship and quiet luxury.
